The 307 Riders Snowmobile Club is hosting their annual Wood Cutting Extravaganza at the Paint Rock Warming Hut. Meeting at Bear Lodge Resort Saturday and 9:30am, the 307 Riders Club will be heading for Paint Rock. Trailer from Bear Lodge to the Ranger Creek parking lot (after Antelope Butte). The trail ride is 17 miles there, 17 miles back. Dress for winter. Sleds will be needed as the snow is too deep for wheeled vehicles.

Getting proactive with local snowmobile clubs is not only a great image for the snowmobile community to organizations like the Forest Service, but it’s also extremely essential for survival in case of emergencies. Warming huts serve as a haven in case something goes wrong in the backcountry.

No sign up needed. No equipment required, however, extra chainsaws and axes are appreciated.
