This video covers what we carry as professional backcountry guides. Obviously, we don’t expect you to carry all of this, but hopefully it will give you an idea.

We get it. Snowmobiling is expensive. Many folks maybe make 1 or 2 trips out West every season. It’s hard to justify $1200 avalanche bags, $350 beacons, $100 shovels, $150 radios, a $170 guide, etc. etc. But after volunteering first hand with our local Search & Rescue and hearing their rescue stories, there’s one common factor, and that’s most rescues are due to people being unprepared. Hopefully our rental gear options will help you come out West slightly more prepared than you would’ve been otherwise.

If you are renting a sled or you are a guide client of ours, you can choose rental gear upon booking your guide/rental as well. This page is mostly for those who aren’t renting a sled from us or aren’t going on a guided trip.

avalanche Beacons - $15/day

Avalanche beacons are an absolute necessity when riding the backcountry. They are used to locate a buried victim who is also wearing a beacon. They help save your life and they help save the life of your friend. With that said, they are useless if you don’t know how to use them. Please educate yourself.

We rent the BCA Tracker S’s and 3’s.
