Snowmobiling in the Bighorn Mountains 101: FAQ's
We get questions about the Bighorns more than we get questions about our guide service. We totally get it. Not everyone is going to hire a guide service. Some want to take the risk of exploring a new area on their own. Some it works out, others leave disappointed. Here are our frequently asked questions sledders have when visiting the Bighorns.
Where should I stay?
There are plenty of options for lodging in and around the Bighorn Mountains for snowmobilers. We partner with the Best Western in downtown Sheridan (our clients get 27% off, others get 10%). We also partner with Arrowhead Lodge in the Bighorns. (clients get 10% off food and lodging). Other options on the mountain include Bear Lodge Resort and Elk View Inn. If you really want to get remote, High Country Lodge is also an option. Staying on the mountain means you can ride in and out of your lodge. Staying in Sheridan means more things to do after riding, cheaper motel options, but you’re looking at an hour drive to most trailheads everyday.
