MEN'S EXPERIENCED/ADVANCED BACKCOUNTRY CLINIC FEBRUARY 29TH-MARCH 3RD
MEN'S EXPERIENCED/ADVANCED BACKCOUNTRY CLINIC FEBRUARY 29TH-MARCH 3RD
About this Clinic-
This clinic is an experienced/advanced oriented class with 6-8 clients and two instructors. Our professional instructors will work with you to improve your riding skills. Along with improving your skills, you will have the opportunity to meet new friends, experience the beauty of the Bighorn Mountains. This is not an all-inclusive clinic. So lodging and food will have to be booked separately. We partner with Arrowhead Lodge and the Best Western. Clients receive a special discount when mentioning they are a client of ours.
What to Expect-
In this course, we will go over the basics of more advanced maneuvers like hop-overs, reentries, foot work, jumping, tree-riding, and throttle control. We will also go over content strategy for social media and we will go over how to analyze the terrain more creatively. This is a really great opportunity to meet new riders who wish to take their riding to the next level and learn from our backcountry guides who put on thousands of miles in the mountains each winter.
Determining Skill Level- (Absolutely essential prior to booking this clinic)
In this course, we expect you to already know the basics of side-hilling, counter-steering, throttle control, wheelies, and be comfortable on steeper slopes with no obstacles. If it’s your first time seeing a steep hill, then this course might not be for you. Our goal with this class is to evaluate your skills, see what needs improved, and teach you how we analyze terrain creatively. This is the next step into backcountry snowmobiling if you don’t have too many problems getting from point a to point b. We are mixing experienced with advanced in this clinic since those terms are subjective.
Experienced = Can side-hill on open slopes no problem. Might need more practice. Can do a full pow-turn in a meadow without falling off both directions.
Advanced = Looking to master the art of reentries, uphill turns, wheelies, and jumps.
