Men's Intermediate Clinic with 3C Guiding - Sierra Madres, Saratoga, Wyoming January 2nd-January 5th.
This clinic is an intermediate oriented class in the Sierra Madre Range of Southern Wyoming. Stay at a private lodge in Saratoga, Wyoming! We will be covering experienced maneuvers for backcountry riding as well as dialing in skills you already know.
About the Sierra Madres -
The Sierra Madres are a hidden gem on the southern border of Wyoming. With less traffic than the neighboring Snowy Range, this allows us to practice your skills on blank canvases.
Determining Skill Levels:
Beginner - will have little to no experience riding a sled in the backcountry (Off Trail). Trail riding is a whole different way to ride a sled. If you’ve only ridden on trails, then you will be a beginner in the backcountry.
Intermediate - Some off trail riding abilities but need to practice more. Understand the basic concepts of using body weight and throttle control.
Experienced - Can get around ok. Might not be doing any cool tricks, but you can get from point A to point B as long as the terrain isn’t too technical or steep.Advanced - Side hilling, pow turns, getting unstuck by yourself, and small jumps aren’t an issue.Pro - You have mastered the basics. You are now looking to master the craft of technical maneuvers like tight tree riding, hop-overs, reentries, and jumps.
